The native land of papaya (Asimina) is Mexico. Indians have started to grow it several thousands years B.C. In this exotic "melon" which really grows on a melon tree, there is almost all the set of vitamins - from A to Е and scientists have found out that papaya contains enzyme of papayotin, the relative of bromelaynin, which effectively helps to reduce overweight.

Fruits of papaya contain such enzymes as protease, amylase, decomposed protein and the starch which all improve digestion, help to activate digestion of food and remove splintered products.

Papaya prevents pains and bad state of health in huge consumption of food, regulates work of bowels.
