The native land of kumquat, tangerine (Citrus reticulata) is China and Japan. Nowadays kumquat grows basically in Asia.
Kumquat is a berry, which by appearance reminds citrus. Kumquat can have yellow, orange colours, the round or oval form and waxy peel.
