Peanut

Peanuts (Arachis) are grassy plants of papilionaceous family. The native land of a peanut is South America. This plant has not only external yellow-orange flowers, which are gathered in inflorescences on stalk that is decumbent on the ground, this plant has also closely blooming flowers pedicels of which get deeply into the ground where they sprout in full darkness. The formed underground fruits are beans, which contain from 1 to up to 5 kernels that have fragile red, dark-or light brown coat. Beans of a peanut are the most valuable culture that has balanced and essential amount of proteins, fat and carbohydrates. Even the small amount of the consumed nuts gives a feeling of satiety for a long time. That is why the biggest portion of nuts goes on preparation of oil, which is better than other vegetable oils in terms of food qualities. Because of that it is produced in 43 countries.

As auxiliary substance a peanut is used in case of high amount of cholesterol, insomnia, strong fatigue and also in case of overweight.
